About Kraig Moore

My interest in the outdoors led me to forestry schools in Montana and Illinois. Upon graduating in 1989, I landed a temporary job with the U.S. Forest Service in Thorne Bay Alaska. Fishing and forestry went hand in hand as I honed my forestry skills in timber stands of 50,000 to 100,000 board feet per acre. The only thing better than the scenery was meeting the future Mrs. Moore. Next came the forest of Pennsylvania and Alabama as I did inventory work for the U.S. government. Permanent work showed up in 1993 as I began service with the Kentucky Division of Forestry. I thought I was set for life, but hard work and faith in myself and God led me to become a Consulting Forester. Fast forward 10+ years, many timber sales, tick bites, two dogs and four beautiful boys and I could not ask for more. Well, that is- unless I had your business. Enjoy my site.
